Privacy Policy

Willy's Deli (Sandos Pop-Up), Adelaide, South Australia, runs the pre-order website at this address. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

When you place a pre-order we collect:

• your name, phone number and email address;
• your pickup date and pickup time slot;
• the sandwiches you ordered;
• the time you accepted our order policy, and the version of the policy you accepted.

We also record how you arrived at the site (for example an Instagram link), and the type of device you used, so we can understand what is working.

Card payments are processed by Square. Your card number is entered into Square’s own secure payment fields and is never sent to, seen by, or stored on our servers. We store only your order total and Square’s payment identifier so we can look up or refund an order.

We use simple first-party analytics on this site. We create a random, anonymous session identifier in a cookie on your device and record things like which page you visited and how far through the order form you got. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or cross-site pixels, we do not sell data, and analytics records contain no names, emails, phone numbers, addresses or card details.

We share only what is needed to run your order, with service providers who process it on our behalf: Square (payments), our transactional email provider (order confirmations and kitchen notifications) and our database hosting provider. We do not sell or rent personal information.

Order records are kept for as long as needed to run the pop-up and meet tax and accounting obligations (generally up to 5 years). Anonymous analytics records are kept for up to 24 months.

You can ask to see or correct the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete details we are not required to keep. Message @willys.deli on Instagram.

We set one first-party cookie for anonymous analytics and remember which pop-up dates you looked at. Square may set cookies as part of its secure checkout, including for fraud prevention. You can clear or block cookies in your browser; the site still works.
